Prep softball: Imbrock keys PH win

HAMLER — Patrick Henry’s Allison Imbrock upped her pitching record to 8-0 with Monday’s 14-9 win over Wauseon. But the sophomore also came through at the plate in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League contest.
Imbrock doubled in two runs during a five-run third inning that gave Patrick Henry a 7-0 lead. After Wauseon cut the deficit to 8-6 with a six-run rally in the fifth, Imbrock delivered an RBI single during a four-run rally in the bottom of the inning that put the Patriots ahead for good.
Imbrock (2-1B, 2B, 4 RBI) and Natalie Herder (3-1B) had three hits each and Rachel Nye had two hits and drove in three runs for Patrick Henry, 12-3 overall and 3-3 in league play. Hayley Chamberlin had two hits and Ashley Smith had a two-run double for Wauseon (6-11, 2-5 NWOAL).
