SWANTON — Jacob Wise capped a three-run rally in the seventh inning Thursday when he drove in Nick Gillette on a bases-loaded squeeze play in Elmwood’s 5-4 win over Swanton in Division III baseball sectional final.

With Swanton leading 4-2 after six innings, Elmwood’s Tyler Stone led off the seventh with a double. Jacob Firsdon and Gillette both walked to load the bases.
Tayte Lentz brought Elmwood within a run when he singled to right, scoring Stone. Firsdon tied it when he scored on a bases-loaded walk to Dylan Hall, bringing Hall to the plate. Attempting to sacrifice, Hall instead reached first on a bunt single while driving in what was the game-winning run.
