MOUNT CORY — Van Buren junior Isaac Sexton put a hurting on Cory-Rawson in more ways than one in the Black Knights’ 10-0 Blanchard Valley Conference victory Tuesday.
Sexton recorded a five-inning no-hitter, allowing a single base runner to reach on a walk while striking out six. He also belted a home run, three doubles and finished with four RBIs.
Ross Adolph hit two triples and a single, Chance Sonnenberg tripled and drove in a run, Brandon Bell doubled, singled and had an RBI, Jameson Jacobs recorded a pair of singles and drove in a run and Payten Whitticar finished with a double and an RBI for Van Buren (16-9, 6-3 BVC).
Logan Cawley suffered the loss, allowing nine earned runs on 12 hits in three innings for Cory-Rawson (3-18, 2-7).

BASCOM — Seneca East still took home an outright Midland Athletic Legaue baseball title on Tuesday.
But Hopewell-Loudon kept the Tigers from making it a clean sweep.
Garret Sendelbach allowed just one hit, survived six walks, and drove in two runs as Hopewell-Loudon beat Seneca East, Ohio’s No. 1-ranked Division IV team, 5-2 in the final MAL game of the season.
It was the second loss in 25 games for Seneca East, which still claimed an outright MAL title with a 9-1 league record. Hopewell-Loudon improved to 17-9 overall and finished MAL play in second place at 8-2.
Tyler Imes banged out four base hits and Sendelbach, Ryan Depinet and Bryan Scherger had two each.
Seneca East’s lone hit was an RBI single by Carson Pipher.

PANDORA — Pandora-Gilboa’s Brian Schneck allowed four earned runs on eight hits in seven innings to earn the victory on the mound, and capped of a four-run rally in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI double to give the Rockets a 6-5 Putnam County League win against Ottoville Tuesday.
Schneck also tripled and T.J. Koepplinger added a double and an RBI for Pandora-Gilboa (11-12, 4-3 PCL).
Brandon Boecker homered, singled and drove in two runs, Luke Schimmoeller had a pair of singles and an RBI and Jared Fanning singled and drove in a run for Ottoville (6-12, 1-6).

BLOOMDALE — Fostoria put up four runs in the first two innings, but Elmwood answered that with 10 runs of its own and rolled past the Redmen 13-6 in Northern Buckeye Conference play Tuesday.
Dylan Hall (3-1B, 2B) laced four hits and Brett Jones (3-1B) had three for Elmwood (12-12, 5-6 NBC). Nolan Kerr, Jacob Firsdon, Jacob Wise and Tayte Lentz added two hits each. Brandon Pennington struck out 11 in earning the win.
Chris Hampton and Trey Yates each notched a pair of singles and Hunter Abell hit a double for Fostoria (14-11, 3-7).

VAN BUREN — Tiffin Calvert erased a 4-0 deficit with a 6-run seventh inning to knock off Van Buren 6-4 in a nonconference baseball game Monday.
Ross Adolph tossed five scoreless innings before running into trouble in the sixth for the Black Knights (15-9).
Adolph tripled with two singles, Isaac Sexton added three singles and Justin Phillips doubled for Van Buren.
Calvert (17-5) scored six runs in the seventh and were helped by an error, a sacrifice fly from Drew Ritzler and a key RBI single by Peyton Deats.
