Baseball: Two-out magic keeps Legion team unbeaten

PEMBERVILLE — Findlay’s American Legion baseball team scored all four runs with two outs as Post 3 remained unbeaten with a 4-3 win over Pemberville on Tuesday.

Chandler Stillings had the big blow for Findlay (10-0) with a two-run single in the top of the fourth inning.

Nolan Rodman had an RBI triple, Chris Hampton added an RBI single and Nick Bowden chipped in a double to lead Findlay at the plate.

Jared Neiling put together another solid effort on the mound as he went nine innings allowing three runs on nine hits with nine strikeouts and no walks.

North Baltimore’s Jordan Watson led Pemberville with a pair of singles and an RBI.

Findlay is back in action today with a 6 p.m. game at Bucyrus.
