College Volleyball: Bluffton picked 2nd in HCAC

WOOD, Ind. — Bluffton University’s volleyball team was picked to finish second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this season in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Defending HCAC champ Defiance received 86 points overall and four first-place votes to earn the favorite tag. Bluffton and Mount St. Joseph followed closely behind with 84 points and 82 points, respectively. Bluffton, Mount St. Joseph, and Rose-Hulman also took the remaining first place votes with four, one, and one, respectively.
Bluffton opens its season on Aug. 29 at home against Heidelberg and Albion in the Sommer Center Spiketacular.
