UCOA Ladies Day Out
The United Conservation and Outdoor Association is holding a “Ladies Day Out” to introduce women and girls age 14 and older to firearms, firearm safety and shooting skills. It will be held on Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6943 Township Rd. 243. Girls between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, and firearms and ammunition will be provided by the UCOA. Attendees can bring their own firearm (rifle, pistol, and shotgun) and one box of ammunition, and the instructors are certified firearm safety officers and/or NRA certified.
