CAREY — Lawyer Stansberry was a perfect 97 of 97 setting and had a career-high 45 assists Thursday as unbeaten Carey held off Wynford 25-13, 23-25, 25-7, 25-18 in a Northern 10 Conference volleyball match.
Sydney Kin had 19 kills, Hannah Zimmerman added 16 and Mckenzie Row had 15 as Carey improved to 6-0 overall, 4-0 N10. Dana Worst led the defense with 19 digs, with Zimmerman adding 13 and Row 12. Kin had five blocks.
Wynford fell to 3-4, 2-2 N10.

Chester had 15 kills and 14 digs. Kaylee Ward added 12 kills and eight digs, while Destini Oler had 10 kills, nine digs and three blocks as Mohawk improved to 4-2 overall, 2-2 N10.
Alexa Konkle and Aubrey Margraf each had 17 digs for the Warriors, with Konkle handing out 27 assists.
Bucyrus fell to 2-3, 1-2 N10.

Hayley Heitmeyer slammed 17 kills on 25 of 27 spiking for the Vikings (6-0, 2-0 PCL), while Kierra Meyer added 16 digs, nine kills, four blocks and a pair of aces. Brooke Brown had 19 digs, Lyndie Hazelton added 18 assists and Emily Butler stuffed six blocks.
Paige Fenstermaker had nine kills and two blocks to lead the Rockets (2-2, 0-1 PCL). Addilyn Diller dished out 16 assists and Madison Hovest collected nine digs.

PEMBERVILLE — Fostoria’s Tyriana Settles hammered 20 kills with 10 digs, two aces and a block but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Red dropped a 25-15, 25-19, 25-21 Northern Buckeye Conference volleyball match to Eastwood on Thursday.
With the win, Eastwood remained unbeaten at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the NBC. It was the first loss of the season for Fostoria, who fell to 4-1 and 1-1.
Settles 20 kills moved her closer to the 1,000-kill mark for her career. She need 51 kills to reach the milestone.
Dakota Thomas dished out 24 assists on 51 of 56 setting with a block.
Mary Harris chipped in 13 digs with two kills and two aces, Meredith Grine added two kills and a block and Evion Taylor served up two aces with seven digs for the Lady Red.

BLOOMDALE — Lizzy Hall totaled 11 assists and four digs for Elmwood in a 25-13, 25-15, 25-16 loss to Lake in Northern Buckeye Conference action.
Zoe Shank added six kills and a pair of blocks for Elmwood (1-4, 0-2 NBC), while Peighton Troike had six digs and four kills.
Lake improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the NBC.

Mackenzie Feathers added seven digs and Madison King smacked six kills for the Raiders (2-1, 0-1 SBC River).
