Findlay Football Tickets Presale
Presale tickets for Findlay High School’s football game Friday with Fremont Ross will be on sale beginning today from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. and until 3 p.m. Friday in the athletic office. Presale tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. All tickets at the gate are $7.
Basketball Officiating Classes
Those interested in becoming certified basketball officals can enroll at ohsaa.org, select “officiating,” then select “become an official.” Officiating prospects must complete 25 hours of classroom instruction, and pass a test on rules and mechanics. For information call Roger Zorn at 419-230-2789.
Fall Lacrosse Clinics
The Findlay Recreation Department is offering fall lacrosse clinics on Monday nights, September 18, 25 and October 2 from 6-7:30pm at Emory Adams Park on the east side across the foot bridge. The clinics are for anyone interested in giving lacrosse a try for the first time and are also geared toward more advanced players ages 4-18. The clinics are free, however pre-registering is recommended. For an introduction to lacrosse, no equipment is necessary; however for more advanced skill development, full equipment is required. Contact the Recreation Department at 419-424-7176 to register or obtain more information.
