College volleyball: Oilers qualify for Division II nationals

For the third straight season, the University of Findlay volleyball team qualified for the Division II national tournament.
The Oilers (27-6) earned the No. 7 seed and will meet No. 2 seed Hillsdale (28-3) for the fourth time this season and third time since Nov. 10.
Top-seeded Lewis (31-2) will host the region with the opening round played on Nov. 30 in Romeoville, Illinois.
Findlay took the first meeting in five sets at Croy but Hillsdale got revenge with a 3-0 home win in the regular season finale to deny UF the regular season Great Midwest Athletic Conference outright title.
The Chargers again topped the Oilers 3-1 in the GMAC tournament final on Saturday in Hillsdale, Mich.
Last season, Findlay earned the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region but fell in the first round to Cedarville.
One year prior, the Oilers defeated Hillsdale in the opening round in what was their fourth meeting of the season before bowing out to top-seeded Ferris State in four sets.
