Hancock Park District and the state Division of Wildlife will offer a day of outdoor education training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21 in “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve.
The workshop is for classroom teachers, home-school instructors, Scout leaders, parks and wildlife volunteers, and anyone interested in Ohio’s natural history.
Project Wild and Aquatic Wild activities will be demonstrated. The workshop will enable participants to teach school curriculum-based activities. Workshop participants will receive resources applicable to outdoor education situations.
Participants should bring a lunch and should dress for both indoors and outdoors.
