Fire damages Wharton home

WHARTON — A home near Wharton was extensivley damaged by fire on Monday.
The house at 19167 Township 42 was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, the sheriff’s office said. The blaze was reported at 4:09 p.m.
The house is owned by Robert Biller, according to Wharton Fire Chief Shane Weatherholtz.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured. The house was insured.
Mutual aid was provided to the Wharton-Richland Township department by fire departments from Carey, Delaware Township in Hancock County, and Upper Sandusky.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
