Two people hurt in I-75 accident

VAN BUREN — Two Delphos teenagers were injured Thursday morning in a crash on Interstate 75, north of Ohio 613.
Jaylynne Hamilton, 19, of Delphos, was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus north on the interstate at 7:40 a.m. when she attempted to change lanes, lost control of her vehicle and struck a guardrail, according to the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol.
The Taurus then came back onto the road, where Hamilton again lost control, sliding into the median and coming to a stop against the median cable, the patrol reported.
Hamilton and a passenger, Madison Stump, 15, of Delphos, were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
The patrol cited Hamilton for failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
Dick’s Towing, of Findlay, assisted at the scene.
