A Columbus Grove woman was injured Friday in a rollover accident in Hancock County.
Amy Banal, 42, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape at 11:05 a.m. on Ohio 12, just east of Hancock County 16 in Union Township, according to Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Tamara House.
The SUV slid off the right side of the road, and then flipped when Banal overcorrected, according to House. The Ford came to rest on the driver’s side.
Banal, who wore a seatbelt, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries, according to House.
Banal was cited for operation without reasonable control.
Assisting were the Mount Cory and Gilboa fire departments, Hanco Ambulance and Dick’s Towing.
