TOLEDO — A McComb man was charged in federal court in Toledo with allegedly misleading investigators.
Ronald E. Deal Sr., 57, has been charged with one count of making a false statement or representation to a department or agency of the United States.
Deal allegedly said he knew nothing about a laser pointed at an aircraft on June 17, 2012, in Hancock County, and then misled investigators by taking responsibility for it, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The case is filed in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
Deal is scheduled for arraignment on April 2 before Magistrate Judge Vernelis Armstrong.
