One person hurt in Ohio 613 crash

A Fostoria man was injured when he fell asleep while driving and sideswiped a truck on Ohio 613 near Washington Township 262 around 8:51 a.m. Thursday.
Brian Tiell, 51, was driving east on Ohio 613 when his vehicle drifted into the westbound lane and sideswiped a tractor-trailer driven by Wyatt Coddington, 45, of Zanesville, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. Tiell’s car then went off the north side of the road before stopping in a field.
Tiell was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was treated and released for minor injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
Tiell was cited for going over marked lanes, the sheriff’s office said. His vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side and was towed, according to the sheriff’s office.
Washington Township Fire Department, Hanco Ambulance and Reinhart’s Towing assisted at the scene.
