Findlay teenager hurt in accident

A Findlay teenager was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital after a two-vehicle accident about 12:27 p.m. Wednesday on Broad Avenue at South River Road, according to a police report.
Liam Evans, 18, of Findlay, was driving a 2006 Nissan Altima north on Broad Avenue, and Douglas Altman, 51, of Findlay, was driving a 2012 Kia Sedona east on South River Road approaching Broad Avenue, police said. Altman stopped at the intersection and then turned left onto Broad Avenue, where the left front of Evans’ car struck the right side of Altman’s minivan, police said.
Both vehicles then hit the guardrail on the side of the roadway.
Evans was taken to the hospital by Hanco Ambulance with non-incapacitating injuries, police said.
Altman was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign, police reported.
