18 Carey High School students qualify to attend May conference in Atlanta

CAREY — Carey Marketing and Distributive Education Club of America will have 18 students participating in the International Career Development Conference May 1-7 in Atlanta, Ga.
The students qualified during recent state competition.
MacKenzie Stover and Christy Wickiser placed first statewide with their sports and entertainment promotion plan project.
Other participants who will attend the national conference and their projects include:
Miranda Conley, Rachel Green and Ben Kromer: financial literacy project; Jacob Goble, Kiersten May and Whitney Niederkohr, learn and earn project; Taylor Cunningham, Evan Rymer and Sadie Vaughn, entrepreneurship promotion project; Jaclyn Troiano, Victoria Woods and Taylor Young, public relations project; Melody Miller, entrepreneurship participating; Mary Jo Bash, Samantha Welty and Lauren Wenner, international business plan.
