Three people hurt in county accident

ARLINGTON — Three Findlay residents were hurt in a two-vehicle accident on Ohio 698 in Van Buren Township at 2:35 p.m. Friday, authorities reported.
Transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital were a driver Amber Smith, 31, her passengers, Joshua Smith, 31 and Judy Wineland, 64.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Nkiru Ujumo, 28, of Findlay, was southbound on Ohio 698 when she failed to stop for a stop sign, and her Honda CRV struck Smith’s Chevy Equinox, which had been headed west on Ohio 103.
Ujumo was cited for failing to stop for a stop sign.
Assisting at the scene were Appleseed Emergency Medical Service, Miller’s Towing and Lowery’s Towing.
