LIMA — A former Bluffton auxiliary police officer was sentenced Monday to serve four years in prison for his sexual relationship with a teenage girl.
Andrew Probst, 24, of Bluffton, had pleaded guilty to sexual conduct with a girl between the ages of 13 and 15, said Assistant Prosecutor Terri Kohlrieser.
Kohlrieser said Probst committed the crimes from around Sept. 1, 2012, to Jan. 20 of this year.
Probst was sentenced to six months in prison for each of eight counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, all fourth-degree felonies.
Probst did not make a statement in Allen County Common Pleas Court, Kohlrieser said.
He was not paid for his work as a Bluffton auxiliary officer.
