The Peter Rabbit Tea, hosted by the Hancock Park District, will feature the story “Mrs. Tittlemouse,” by Beatrix Potter.
The same program will be presented at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. June 2, and at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 3 at Litzenberg Memorial Woods. Participants should meet at the gatehouse.
The program is for children 4 to 6 years old only. No siblings may attend. One adult is required for every two children.
The story will be read in the Activity Barn, “tea” will be served in the nearby McKinnis House, and a garden scavenger hunt will be held after the tea.
