City motorcyclist hurt in accident

McCOMB — A Findlay man was injured after his motorcycle struck a vehicle on Ohio 235, north of Hancock County 203, in Pleasant Township around 5:42 p.m. Saturday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Michael Arnold, 65, was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster northbound when the 2000 Ford Mustang in front of him slowed down to make a left turn in the 1900 block of Ohio 235. Arnold was unable to slow in time, swerved to the left of the Ford and struck the driver side door, the sheriff’s office reported.
He was treated at the scene for minor injuries, the sheriff’s office reported.
John Chiles, 30, of Delphos, was turning into a driveway so he could turn around, the sheriff’s office reported.
McComb Fire Department and PMP ambulance service assisted at the scene and an investigation is pending, the sheriff’s office reported.
