Forest library plans ‘Slimetime’

FOREST — The annual “Slimetime” program, hosted by Forest-Jackson Public Library, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Gormley Park, Forest.
Participants should dress in old clothes and shoes because it will be messy.
Separately, the Forest municipal pool is not yet open, so the Mount Blanchard pool party, for summer reading program participants, will be held at 11:45 a.m. July 22. A pizza lunch will be available.
The programs are free, by a grant from the Hardin County Community Foundation.
