BASCOM — Four people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 18 east of Fostoria.
According to the State Highway Patrol, Jon Boucher, 39, of Tiffin, was driving west on Ohio 18 near Bascom at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when he stopped in traffic and his vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Clifford Seeley of Fostoria.
The patrol said Boucher’s two passengers, Kimberly Boucher, 37, and Brock Boucher, 14, both of Tiffin, were taken to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Jon Boucher was not transported.
Seeley and a passenger, Karen Seeley, 50, of Fostoria, were taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital, the patrol said. The two also suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol said.
Clifford Seeley was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead, the patrol said.
