Police Department

Paint vandalism was noted Friday on the side of Bent Tree Apartments, 2210 Ivy Lane.
A Friday fracas was reported in the 100 block of Crystal Avenue, where the two combatants sustained minor injuries and each declined to pursue charges against the other.
Neighbors were involved in a Saturday dispute in the 100 block of Stanley Avenue.
Weekend warrants were issued to those located at 1901 Broad Ave., 1215 W. Main Cross St. and 818 Summit St.
Two purses were taken from two vehicles Saturday at 231 McManness Ave.
Saturday domestic squabbles occurred at domiciles on East Sandusky Street and Summit Street.
A Findlay shoplifter was detained Saturday at Kohl’s, 2310 Tiffin Ave.
A ring was thieved Saturday from 700 W. Trenton Ave.
Five area people were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol stemming from a Sunday traffic stop in the 300 block of North Blanchard Street.

Sheriff’s Office

A Vanlue resident advised in early September that he had received a bogus check from an area couple for construction work.
A maple tree was cut down in woods off Union Township 47. This was reported Oct. 31.
A mailbox was destroyed Saturday outside 19112 Amanda Township 163, Mount Blanchard.
Domestic strife was noted inside homes Thursday on Hancock County 220 and Parkwood Drive.
Medication was stolen on Oct. 4 from 5069 Orange Township 29, Jenera.
Landscape lights were broken in late October outside 106 E. Heldman St., Jenera.
Property was taken from a trailer parked at Zion United Methodist Church, Ohio 12, in late August.
Money was removed from 602 W. Melrose Ave. The theft was reported Oct. 27.
An Elwood Street woman alleged Friday her landlord ran over her foot during a dispute. The victim declined ambulance transportation for medical treatment.
