Police Department

Two firearms were thieved recently from 1316 Fox St.
A Forest male was issued a telecommunications warning Tuesday to desist in hassling a city woman.
A West Front Street man was caught shoplifting wares Monday from Great Scot, 301 W. Main Cross St.
Domestic tumult was noted recently inside dwellings on Washington Street and Longmeadow Lane.
A Findlay resident advised Monday that someone was harassing him via Facebook.
Two area men wanted under separate warrants were collected Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Main Street and 1000 block of North Blanchard Street.

Sheriff’s Office

An Arlington teenager was questioned last week concerning harassing another teenager with text messages.
A Mount Blanchard person apprised on Dec. 8 that someone had attempted to open a credit card with her identity, sans consent.

From the public records of Hancock County Common Pleas Court:
Anthony Leonard, 28, of Hamilton, was sentenced Nov. 29 to 20 months in prison and must pay court costs. Leonard pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in cocaine, each a fifth-degree felony, and one count of trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony. The incidents occurred March 17, 2016.
Asia Burwell, 22, of Toledo, was found in violation of community control sanctions on July 11 after serving a sentence for robbery, a second-degree felony. She was resentenced Nov. 29 to 35 months in prison and must pay costs of proceedings. The robbery was committed May 24, 2014.
