Richard A. Bell

Richard A. Bell, age 49, of Hilliard, OH, a native of Findlay, OH, left our presence but not our hearts on Monday, July 30, 2018. Born in Findlay, Rich was a graduate of Findlay High School, Class of 1987. He attended MIT and the University of Findlay and graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Optometry in 1995. Rich began his career at Spectrum Eye Care in Findlay and was later employed at the Veterans Administration in Chillicothe and Columbus as Assistant Chief of Eye Care Services. Rich was preceded in death by his grandparents Clayton & Lorene Oman and Clarence & Bernice Bell. He is survived by his daughter Madison Shea Bell of Hilliard, parents Alvin (Judith) Bell of Findlay and Sue Keith of Hilliard, his siblings David (Erica Grevemeyer) Bell of Berkeley, CA, Tony (Pamela) Musone of Lawrenceville, GA and Tim Musone of Findlay, his loving companion Susan Zacatelco of Hilliard and daughter Hallie Zacatelco, his former spouse Amy (Michael Schroeder) Sidner of Hilliard and son Oscar Sidner, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his faithful dog Maxwell. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. SUNDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 and again from 10-11 a.m. MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2018 where his Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY. Reverend Joanne Blum will officiate the service.
