Raymond D. Neall

Raymond D. “Ray” Neall, 54, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, surrounded by his loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Ray as born on March 22, 1964, in Owosso, Michigan, to the late Richard and Mary (Lupu) Neall. He married Sharon McCullough on January 14, 1989 in Benton Ridge and she survives in Findlay. Also surviving are his children: Erin (Mason Abbott) Neall, Scott and Todd Neall all of Findlay; grandchild Claire Raye Abbott and a brother Edward (Debra) Neall of Ruskin, Florida.

Ray was a bricklayer for Local 46 retiring and had 36 years of service in the masonry industry. Ray’s fingerprints are on many structures in Findlay and the surrounding areas. He helped volunteer for some masonry projects at Van Buren and Elmwood schools. Everybody loved Ray and he will be greatly missed. He blessed his family with a great hard working work ethic and his great sense of humor. Ray always was willing to help someone in a time of need and enjoyed tinkering and working in his garden. Most of all he loved being with his family and friends.

Ray’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Interment will be in the Harmon Cemetery, Gilboa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be gifted in Ray’s honor to Neall family or to Cancer Patient Services.
