FOSTORIA, Ohio (AP) — A police department in northwest Ohio says three people have been arrested in connection with a house fire that left two people dead.
Charges were filed after the State Fire Marshal’s Office ruled the Monday fire in Fostoria was arson. Two people were killed and another was injured and hospitalized. Their names haven’t been released.
Officials said the fire started at the front of the house, but they haven’t said how it started. Police haven’t given a motive.
Police say 31-year-old Shey Weiker is facing multiple charges, including aggravated murder and aggravated arson. Charges against 44-year-old Charles Schaeffer and 20-year-old Timothy Hall include complicity to commit aggravated murder and complicity to commit arson.
No attorney information was available for them early Tuesday.
