BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (AP) — Former first lady and secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton will sign her book “Hard Choices” in southwest Ohio this week.
Clinton will be at Books & Co. at The Greene in Beavercreek near Dayton from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, publisher Simon & Schuster confirmed.
About 600 tickets were distributed Monday and early Tuesday, a store spokesman said. People were lined up the store before its 9 a.m. opening on both days. Tickets are being distributed to people already with receipts or those who pre-purchase books, which are being distributed at the signing table on the day of the event.
Clinton has been on a major promotional effort for the book about her time as secretary of state. The tour has attracted intense media attention and at times resembled the frenetic pace of a campaign kickoff.
Clinton says she hasn’t decided whether she will run for president again in 2016, but the book has done nothing to dampen that speculation.
Clinton won Ohio’s Democratic primary over Barack Obama in 2008 before he clinched the nomination.
Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, carried the swing state twice. Earlier this month he spoke to state Democrats in Columbus.
