CINCINNATI (AP) — The body of a 26-year-old southwest Ohio man was found in a ditch and appears to be the result of a hit-and-run.
A driver who saw a shoe in the road Saturday found the body of Christopher Shaw in a steep ditch over a guardrail in the Cincinnati suburb of Delhi Township.
Police say evidence at the scene suggests that Shaw was killed in a hit-and-run.
Shaw lives about a half-mile from where he was killed and police say he frequently walked along the road where he died.
Police say the street where he was killed isn’t particularly safe for walking.
Shaw was last seen alive Friday morning.
Police are conducting a criminal investigation into the death.
