WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio (AP) — Police say a plane has crashed shortly after takeoff at a regional airport, killing four people about 15 miles northeast of Cleveland.
WKYC-TV reports (on.wkyc.com/1wuxpFM) the plane crashed around 10 p.m. Monday after taking off from the Cuyahoga County Airport. It happened near the intersection of Bishop Road and Curtiss Wright Parkway, near the Lake County-Cuyahoga County border.
In 2009 two people were killed when a single-engine plane crashed shortly after taking off from the Cuyahoga County Airport.
