The Hancock Park District held its annual Maple Sugarin’ living history event on Saturday morning at Litzenberg Memorial Woods. From 9 a.m to noon, people could come out to the park for a pancake breakfast, and a walk along the nature trail to see how maple syrup was made in the 1800s by both pioneers and Native Americans.
