Stamping out hunger

Event coordinator Marta Withrow of Findlay, right, puts donated canned goods into big cardboard boxes Saturday during a “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive conducted by United States Postal Service letter carriers. Findlay letter carriers and more than 20 United Way volunteers collected canned goods donations throughout the city, and brought them to the collection point at the Great Scot store downtown. The donations will go to local food pantries. Last year, 5,800 pounds of canned goods were collected. This year’s goal was to beat that mark. (Photo by Kevin Bean / The Courier)
