Four injured in Cygnet crash

CYGNET — Details of a Tuesday accident, which injuried four individuals including a child, continue to be determined, according to a Wood County Sheriff’s Office report.

The accident, just west of the village, involved a car at the Interstate 75 exit failed to stop or slow down as it entered Cygnet Road and collided with an eastbound vehicle. The crash report was incomplete today, according to the Sentinel-Tribune, Bowling Green.

Chastidy Morrow, Toledo, was one driver and was cited for failure to yield. Virginia Shinew, Cygnet, was the other driver.

Morrow and two passengers, Whitney Sciko, Maumee; and Gabriella Stewart, 3, Toledo, were taken by Mid-County 120 Emergency Medical Service to Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, with possible injuries.

Shinew also was taken to the hospital by Bloomdale Emergency Medical Service  with possible injuries.
