Hearthside Food Solutions, which has a plant in McComb which makes Nabisco brand cookies and other baked goods, will be purchased by private equity firms Charlesbank Capital Partners, headquartered in Boston, and Partners Group, of Baar, the Switzerland.
Hearthside is being acquired from Goldman Sachs and Vestar Capital Partners. The deal is expected to close by June.
Hearthside, headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, produces nutrition bars, cookies, cereals and other baked foods and snacks for some of the worlds premier food brands. It operates 25 manufacturing facilities across the United States and Europe.
