An additional indictment has been filed against Deshler Police Chief Ryan Bowersox, according to Henry County Common Pleas Court records.

A grand jury indicted Bowersox on one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, on Thursday. Bowersox is due in court for arraignment on that charge at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

In late March, Bowersox was charged with three counts of unauthorized use of the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway, according to court records. Additionally, warrants were issued at the time of his indictment, seeking stolen guns, steroids and other evidence from his Hamler residence and at the Deshler Police Department.

Bowersox is currently on administrative leave. His next court date after Tuesday’s arraignment is a pre-trial hearing set for May 30.
