Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crashthis afternoon at the intersection of Sixth and South Blanchard streets, the Findlay Police Department reported.

Kendra Welly, 23, of Tiffin, was driving a 2018 Hyundai Tucson eastbound on Sixth Street at 5:22 p.m. when her vehicle rear-ended a 2002 Chrysler Sebring. The impact caused the Chrysler to rear-end a 1997 Buick Park Avenue stopped at the intersections red light, police said.

The Chryslers driver, Steven Martinez, 38, and his passengers, Miranda Hunter, 37, and Antonio Martinez, 11, all of Findlay, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Buicks driver, Chaler Sutter, 26, of Forest, was not injured.

Welly was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead, police said.

BG Towing, Findlay Fire Department and Hanco EMS assisted at the scene.
