The elementary semifinalists are: Jeanine Baker, fourth-grade history teacher at Bigelow Hill Intermediate in Findlay; Bridgett Bunn, K-5 intervention specialist at Van Buren; and Jennifer Stillings, fourth-grade reading and science teacher at Bigelow Hill.

The middle school semifinalists are: Miranda Kennedy, reading teacher at Vanlue; David Sorensen, band teacher at Arlington; and Sue Harrington-Williams, art teacher at Donnell Middle School in Findlay.

The high school semifinalists are: Krista Bigger, music and choir teacher at Findlay; Gary Holland, math teacher at Cory-Rawson; and Lisa Willson, business instructor at Millstream Career Center.

The three winners will all receive the Golden Apple Award and a $2,500 prize to be used on classroom items. They also join the Golden Apple Academy, which is made up of the past award recipients. The second- and third-place teachers will get $250 each.
