A Findlay motorcyclist was injured Sunday night when he laid down his cycle at the intersection of South Blanchard and East Sandusky streets, the Findlay Police Department reported.
Kevin Ammons, 59, of Findlay, suffered lacerations and was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance, police said.
Police said Ammons was riding a 2005 Harley-Davidson south on Blanchard Street about 6:11 p.m. He told police that he lay down the motorcycle to avoid a collision with a northbound Ford Mustang, which was stopped while waiting to turn west on Sandusky.
There was no collision, police said.
The incident remained under investigation late Sunday and no citation had been issued.
