The 2018 Findlay-Hancock County Halloween Parade won’t be in Findlay’s downtown for the second year in a row.
The parade, which starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, will march from the corner of Lake Cascades Parkway north on Findlay’s South Main Street to Lima Avenue.
Laurie Poland, who works registration for the parade, said the new route, which stays south of the downtown area, is easier for the city, participants and parade goers.
“We just like it better down there. It just seems to work better for everyone. It went so well last year,” Poland said.
The event was moved from the downtown area for the first time last year due to construction.
The annual parade is sponsored by the Hancock Leadership Alumni Association.
