A Findlay man’s vehicle struck a tree on West Main Cross Street in Findlay as snow fell Sunday afternoon, according to the Findlay Police Department.
Thomas Westrick, 50, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer west when he lost control in the 800 block and fishtailed before striking a tree on the south side of the road, according to police.
Police were dispatched to the accident at 3:23 p.m.
He was cited for failure to maintain control, the police said.
He was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS.
The Findlay Fire Department and Ed’s Towing assisted at the scene.
