A Findlay teenager was injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle accident on South Main Street, according to Findlay police.
Sidney Zirger, 17, of Findlay was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries following the 5:21 p.m. accident.
Police reported that Rickie Walsh, 62, of Toledo, was driving a 2014 Honda CR-V south on South Main Street near Second Street when a vehicle in front of him lost control due to the slick road conditions. Walsh went left of center in an attempt to miss the vehicle in front of him and collided with a 2016 Chevy Cruze driven by Bennett Emerick, 17, of Findlay, who was northbound on Main Street, according to police.
Zirger was a passenger in the Emerick vehicle.
Walsh was cited for driving left of center, police reported.
The Findlay Fire Department and Miller’s Towing assisted at the scene.
