President Donald Trump will visit the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center in Lima next week, according to a report in The Lima News.

Trump will speak and tour the tank plant Wednesday to “reaffirm the President’s commitment to the United States Military and the American worker,” according to the White House.

The tank plant has rebounded over the last five years and currently is filling new jobs. On Jan. 11, the U.S. Army announced a $714 million order for General Dynamics Land Systems upgrades on 171 M1 Abrams tanks.

The last sitting president to tour the tank plant was George W. Bush on April 24, 2003.

More details on Trump’s visit will be released when they become available.
