Three drivers who were stopped as part of a checkpoint on Friday night were charged with OVI, according to the State Highway Patrol.

From 8 p.m. to midnight, 919 vehicles drove through the checkpoint on Main Street in Findlay. Law enforcement diverted three vehicles for further investigation, the patrol said.

Three drivers were charged with OVI, the patrol reported. Two were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The Findlay Police Department, the University of Findlay Police Department and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office assisted troopers from the Findlay post of the patrol with in the checkpoint.
