A man robbed the Exxon gas station on Fostoria Avenue at gunpoint this morning, the Findlay Police Department reports.

Around 6:55 a.m., a white man with a red bandanna covering the lower half of his face entered Exxon, 1831 Fostoria Ave., and demanded money from an employee while “brandishing a handgun.”

The employee started walking to the register, but the suspect hit the man in the face with the gun before he got there. The employee continued to the register and gave the man money from the register.

The suspect, who was described as about 5 feet 8 inches and wearing a brown short-sleeve T-shirt and a ball cap, fled west behind nearby apartments.

Hanco EMS treated the employee at the scene for an injury to his mouth and upper lip.

777 Games of Skill internet cafe and CashMax, both on Tiffin Avenue, have also been robbed by men wearing bandannas within the past two weeks.
