A Fostoria woman was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital following a two-car accident at the intersection of Western Avenue and West Sandusky Street Saturday afternoon, according to Findlay police.

Jacqueline Caviness, 55, of Fostoria, was taken to the hospital by Hanco EMS for treatment of a possible neck injury, police said.

Police reported that Dennis Kear, 71, of Findlay, was driving north on Western Avenue when he failed to yield at a stop sign. His 2007 Chevy Impala struck a 2002 Nissan Xterra driven by Caviness, causing minor damage to both vehicles.

The accident occurred at 3:31 p.m.

There were no other injuries.

Kear was cited by police for failure to yield.
