A Findlay bank branch was robbed by an armed man early Saturday afternoon, and police are still searching for the suspect.
Police were called to the Chase Bank branch at 1917 Tiffin Ave. at 12:29 p.m. Officers were told that a man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money. A teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect left the building and was last seen running southwest through the parking lots, police reported. Officers searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as a skinny white male about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 in his mid to late 20s or early 30s wearing blue jeans, a blue-hooded sweatshirt and black face mask.
No one was injured in the incident.
