You can use this page to print and submit announcements for publication in Celebrations! If you choose to write your own announcement, keep in mind that a 1-column x 5.5-in announcement or a 2-column x 2.75-inch announcement will hold about 600 characters with a photo. A 1-column x 11-in or 2-column x 5.5-in announcement will hold approximately 1800 characters. Leaving out the photo will result in an additional 630 characters for each announcement size.
Remember, we must receive your form by 3pm Wednesday in order for your announcement to be published in the following week’s Tuesday issue of Celebrations!

Guidelines for your Celebrations!
Pick them up to go, or fill them out with your order, at The Courier, 701 West Sandusky St., Findlay, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
After submitting online forms you will be contacted by phone for payment details.
Use the Other Occasions form for birthdays, retirements, team photos, thank-yous, reunions, fun photos, memorials, etc.
Forms can be submitted electronically. You are also welcome to place your announcement in person at The Courier during business hours (701 W. Sandusky St.), or mail the form, photo and payment to “Celebrations!,” The Courier, P.O. Box 609, Findlay, OH 45839. Engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and most other submissions may be submitted online. Payment for online submissions is handled by phone.
A good photo is a must!
Photos should be at least wallet-sized. Glossies help, too. Do not cut them.
Photos for weddings, engagements and anniversaries can be submitted online. They must be at least 200 dpi.
Photo prints should be dropped off at The Courier, or in the mailbox near our front door in an envelope marked Celebrations! with contact information included.
They also can be mailed with an announcement form. They will be returned by mail if you send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, or please pick them up within two weeks or they may be discarded. The Courier will take reasonable care of photos, but it assumes no financial liability for them.
A limited number of color photo opportunities are available in Celebrations! It’s first-come, first-served.
Write and show almost anything you want about almost anything you want as long as it’s in good taste. (That’s our call.) We encourage you to write your own announcement since you know the story best. Then again, traditional announcements work well, too.

Celebrations! is published every Tuesday. Your announcement will appear in one Celebrations! printed edition on Tuesday, and online for one week.

Poems and copyrighted photos must include the author’s name and permission to reprint. We reserve the right to reject any announcement for any reason

For the public record
We will print one- and two-sentence announcements of engagements, weddings, anniversaries (50, 55, 60 years, etc.,) and birthdays (90 years or older) free of charge for the public record. They should be mailed to The Courier or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
