Police Department

A Westview Drive woman reported her vehicle was entered overnight on Thursday and some change was stolen.

A homeless man was arrested for shoplifting and drug paraphernalia possession on Thursday at Walmart, 1161 W. Trenton Ave.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old man were both arrested for possessing beer underage on Friday in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue.

A drunk driver was arrested on Friday on North Main Street. Separately, another drunk driver was arrested Friday in the 400 block of South Main Street.

A man was arrested Friday in the 200 block of East Main Cross Street for having an open container of beer.

Alexandria’s, 132 E. Crawford St., reported receiving a counterfeit $5 bill on Friday.

Police investigated a report of domestic violence on Friday on East Hardin Street. There were no reported injuries.

An unknown suspect attempted to force entry into a construction trailer at 2301 Foxfire Lane on Friday. The trailer was damaged in the process.
