A Sterling Hill Drive resident said Thursday that when she returned from out of town, she found her back door open and several items missing.
Two teenage girls, reported as runaways from California, were found at a residence in the 1700 block of Carey Avenue on Thursday night. They were taken to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center for processing.
A bicycle was taken from a Chateau Circle residence Thursday afternoon.
An interior window at a business in the 1800 block of Tiffin Avenue was reported broken on Thursday. An officer reported it appeared that someone broke the window accidentally and didn’t report it to the business.
A bicyclist fled from officers as they attempted to stop him in the 500 block of Hull Avenue. The man was later arrested for obstructing official business. He was jailed on an unrelated warrant.
Deputies received a report of a man threatening suicide at a home on Park Street. A man admitted he had sent such texts, but said he had no intention of killing himself. A deputy took the man to Blanchard Valley Hospital for pre-screening to receive help.
A woman on Powell Lane in Rawson said Wednesday that another person had threatened to shoot a neighbor if the neighbor stepped on her property.
A domestic disturbance was reported on Ohio 12 in Washington Township.
Littering charges against three people are being considered after a Dec. 26 surveillance video showed each leaving trash on County Road 37, Rawson.
A teenage girl reportedly stole a gift card from her father’s truck and a necklace from her home on Monto Lane. A report was forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor for review.
